This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who thrives in Key Stage 1 and enjoys helping children grow in confidence, independence and early academic skills. The role As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons that support pupils' literacy, numeracy and personal development. Working closely with the school's strong leadership team and classroom support staff, you'll help create a positive learning environment where children feel safe, encouraged and excited to learn. Responsibilities Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum Creating an inclusive, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment Tracking, assessing and reporting on pupil progress Supporting children's social, emotional and academic development Working effectively with teaching assistants and support staff Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom routines Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleaguesAbout the school Supportive and welcoming staff team Strong focus on pupil well-being and early development Well-equipped classrooms and engaging learning spaces Easily accessible from Chester, Ellesmere Port, Wirral and surrounding areasThe ideal candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 Warm, enthusiastic and able to deliver engaging lessons Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards Understanding of safeguarding and primary school policiesSafeguarding Prospero Teaching is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
