An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Furniture Assembler to join BoConcept in Barking. BoConcept is a global furniture brand operating in more than 60 countries. We operate high-end furniture outlets across London and the Home Counties, including a concession in Harrods Department Store. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer experience, and on-the-job training will be provided for the successful candidate.
The Responsibilities:
* Interacting with customers daily and upholding the high standards of the organisation
* Loading furniture onto and from the vehicle
* Driving deliveries to the site / customer homes, etc.
* Installing, assembling, and demonstrating the furniture
* Organising access to the site (e.g., lift/stairs)
* Working flexible hours as per customer demand
You will have the below Skills, Experience, and Attributes:
* Experience assembling furniture and fitting it, or basic carpentry/DIY skills
* Dedicated to exceeding customer expectations in service, fitting, and assembly
* Flexible to work evenings or early mornings (after store hours)
* Passionate about delivering customer satisfaction with a positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
* Ability to safely lift heavy objects
* Full UK driving license (essential for this role)
In return, the Furniture Assembler can earn £25,000 within the first 12 months (performance-dependent), with potential to earn up to £5,000 in overtime.
