Job Title: Software Tester (Manual Testing - Contractor)
Remote with occasional visit to Watford office
Contract Length: 12 months
Day Rate: £400 (Inside IR35)
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester / Quality Engineer to join our client's IT Infrastructure team on a 12-month contract. You will be a vital member of the test team, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple projects and test phases, from functional through to staging.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing of web-based applications across browsers and platforms.
Prepare test plans, test data, and test scripts.
Collaborate with Development, Project Management, Business Analysts, and SMEs.
Log, reproduce, and re-test bugs using JIRA.
Provide updates on testing progress and outcomes.
Flexibly manage multiple test streams and shifting priorities.Mandatory Skills:
5+ years of manual testing experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience writing test scenarios and test scripts.
Skilled in using JIRA and Confluence.
Proven experience in manual testing of web applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Nice-to-Have Skills:
Salesforce or NetSuite experience.
