This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in optimising day-to-day output, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety. About the Role: As Production Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing all production activity within the facility. You'll lead a team of operators and technicians, work closely with engineering, supply chain and support departments, and ensure delivery of high-quality products on time, every time. Responsibilities: Production Oversight Manage daily production operations and ensure timely output of quality products Develop, monitor and optimise production schedules to align with customer demands Analyse and improve production processes and drive efficiency Leadership & Team Management Lead, develop and motivate production staff Promote a positive, performance-led culture across the team Conduct performance reviews and oversee recruitment & training Quality & Compliance Uphold rigorous quality control standards Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Champion continuous improvement and process innovation Inventory & Resources Oversee materials planning and inventory control Collaborate with maintenance teams to keep machinery running at peak efficiency Control production costs and minimise waste What You'll Bring: 5+ years in a production or operations management role (ideally manufacturing-based) Proven leadership and team development skills Excellent understanding of manufacturing workflows, lean practices, and quality systems Strong planning, problem-solving and communication skills Confident in managing production schedules, resources, and cost control Adaptable, proactive and results-focused mindset Preferred: Degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing or similar Knowledge of ERP/production software Familiarity with switchgear or electrical manufacturing Lean Six Sigma or similar qualifications What's in It for You: Competitive salary based on experience Early finish every Friday at 12pm Private medical cover (option to add family) Life assurance plan (3x gross salary) Workplace pension contribution 30 days annual leave Rewarding team culture & ongoing CPD opportunities If you're a motivated and experienced Production Manager seeking a new challenge with a high-growth employer in a modern, forward-thinking environment - we'd love to hear from you.
