Payroll Supervisor - £200 - £300 per day - Heathrow - 3/6 months
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to manage a payroll population of approximately 1,000 employees. This role will work closely with external payroll provider, ensuring all processes run smoothly, accurately, and in full compliance with HMRC requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the day-to-day relationship with the external payroll provider.
2. Ensure all payroll activities are compliant with UK legislation and internal controls.
3. Act as the first point of contact for payroll queries from the business.
4. Provide clear, pragmatic advice on payroll compliance requirements.
5. Support year-end and monthly payroll processes.
6. Collaborate with the wider HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll data.
Required Knowledge & Experience
Candidates must have strong, hands-on experience in the following areas:

9. Holiday pay enhancement
10. Apprenticeship Levy
11. Shift work and variable pay components
12. HMRC legislation, compliance, and reporting requirements
13. Ability to guide stakeholders on actions needed to remain compliant
