Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic Children’s Charity to help find a Corporate and Community Fundraising Officer.
We’re looking for professional fundraisers with demonstrable experience in corporate partnerships.
Basic Details:
* Job Title: Corporate and Community Fundraising Officer
* Organisation: Children’s Charity
* Location: London, Hybrid (2 days a week in the office)
* Contract: Full-time, Permanent
* Closing date: Reviewing applications on a rolling basis
* Requirements: CV and Cover Letter
Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing fundraising initiatives to secure financial support from our current and new corporate partners and community groups.
* Build strong relationships with businesses, local organisations, and supporters to maximise income and engagement.
* Proactively identify and secure new corporate partners through research, outreach, and compelling proposals developed with the support of your line manager.
* Plan and execute unforgettable fundraising events—think fun runs, community dinners, online campaigns, and more.
* Manage existing partnerships to maximise value, ensuring long-term support and mutual benefit.
* 2 years minimum, proven experience in fundraising.
* Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of fundraising regulations and best practices.
* Target driven, and ambitious.
* Have access to public transport for easy access to communities and corporates within the London area.
