Founded nearly 50 years ago, the company designs, manufactures, supplies and installs a range of automation and robotic machinery across sectors such as aerospace, automotive, military and nuclear. Role Overview
On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a long‑standing and nationally recognised company where you will be designing control panels, then doing test and assembly, for a range of special‑purpose machinery. Once up to speed, you can progress into a managerial role looking after a small team of engineers.
Responsibilities
* Control panel design, test and assembly
* Working on Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs
* Assist in development into a Junior Manager position
* Work schedule: Monday to Thursday 8am‑5pm, early finish on Fridays, 37.5 hours a week
Qualifications & Experience
* Controls Engineer with experience in PLC programming
* A clear ambition to progress into a managerial role
