Scottish Woodlands is expanding across Scotland and seeks enthusiastic professionals passionate about harvesting for key roles in our organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate effectively with the timber harvesting team, clients, customers, and timber markets.
2. Develop new timber harvesting and marketing opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous harvesting experience and relevant qualifications preferred; training can be provided for the right candidate.
* Commercial awareness, sound understanding of the rural sector, excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Proficient IT skills, experience with contractors, project management, health & safety knowledge.
* Ability to undertake roles of a Forestry Works Manager.
* Valid full driving licence essential.
* Membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or progression towards chartered status preferred.
