As Interimernance Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting senior leadership, ensuring robusternance frameworks, and driving continuous improvement acrosspliance, assurance, and corporate policy functions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experiencedernance professional to make a significant impact in a values‑led, forward‑thinking environment during a period of transition.Your new roleAs the Interimernance Manager, you will lead the delivery ofprehensiveernance services and Executive PA support, ensuring fullpliance with statutory, regulatory, and legal obligations. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Developing, reviewing, and embeddingernance, regulatory andpliance frameworks.
2. Providing expert advice to the Executive, Board, andmittees onernance, regulation, risk and assurance.
3. Leading on the organisation’s risk and assurance management framework, including the oversight of business continuity and crisis management planning.
4. Ensuring timely and accurate submission of all statutory and regulatory returns.
5. Managing the preparation, distribution and quality of Board andmittee papers, registers, minutes andernance records.
6. Driving continuous improvement, modernisedernance processes, and best practice.
7. Overseeing corporate policy frameworks and ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
8. Managing relationships with external legal advisers to ensure effective third‑party assurance.
9. Leading, motivating and developing theernance and Executive PA team to maintain consistently high standards of service.
10. Chairing key internal groups and contributing to strategic initiatives, planning, audit rmendations and performance reporting.
11. This interim assignment requires someone who can quickly step in, add value immediately, and support effective decision‑making at senior levels.
What you’ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will need:
12. A degree‑level qualification (or equivalent through relevant experience).
13. Professional qualification with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) or an equivalenternance qualification (desirable but highly advantageous).
14. Significant experience in deliveringernance services at a senior level.
15. Strong knowledge ofernance best practice,pany law, and regulatory environments.
16. Experience working with Boards,mittees and senior stakeholders, including Board development.
17. Proven experience in risk management frameworks, policyernance and corporatepliance.
18. Experience in social housing or a related highly regulated sector (desirable but beneficial).
19. Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and motivating teams.
20. Excellentmunication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
21. Ability to produce and presentplexernance reports and documentation to senior audiences.
22. High levels of organisation, flexibility, and the ability to managepeting priorities.
23. Self‑motivation and the ability to work independently with confidence and initiative.
