Role overview
Were looking for a hands-on Marketing Campaign Manager to take ownership of high-impact campaigns reaching hundreds of thousands of students across the UK.
Youll plan, launch, and optimise campaigns that directly influence student behaviour - bringing together creativity, data, and experimentation to drive measurable results.
The kind of person were looking for will have a few years of solid marketing experience under their belt, while still understanding the student world and how to use social media, email, and push notifications to nudge a largely Gen Z audience.
Key tasks
Youll be taking marketing ideas and bringing them to life. This hands-on role will see you set up campaigns, track their impact, and report back to the wider team.
Every job description says this, but we really mean it here - youll need an incredible eye for detail. A big part of this job is making sure the right message goes to the right people.
Your role will include:
* Take ownership of our email and push notification schedules youll look after who were talking to, when, and why.
* Plan and run digital campaigns across push, email, social, and paid channels.
* Keep a close eye on performance, spotting whats working and whats not, then tweaking things to make them better.
* Run A/B tests to fine-tune messages and drive action.
* Work hand-in-hand with our creative, editorial, and content teams to make sure everythings on-brand and delivered on time.
* Meet with clients to explain what the data means for them.
* Occasionally get out there with the team at student events youll help us bring the brand to life face-to-face.

* Strong working knowledge of digital marketing channels including email, push notifications, social, and paid media
* Ability to use data and insight to evaluate performance and optimise campaigns
* High level of attention to detail, particularly around targeting, messaging, and timing
* Confident turning campaign results into clear, actionable reporting
* Solid Excel skills and comfort talking through data
* Familiarity with analytics and testing tools (e.g. Google Analytics, A/B testing platforms)
* Understanding of behavioural or audience-led marketing principles
* Awareness of what resonates with student or Gen Z audiences
Experience (what you have done)
* Hands-on experience planning, launching, and managing digital marketing campaigns
* Experience optimising campaigns based on performance data and insights
* Experience working cross-functionally with creative, content, or design teams
* Familiar with marketing to students or acadmeic audiences
* Experience with CRM, app-based, or lifecycle campaigns
* Experience working with external agencies or partners

* Qualifications
* Degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing, communications, or a related field
* Full UK driving licence (role involves UK travel)
