Assistant Accountant- Craigavon
Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-known distribution organisation based in the Craigavon Area.
Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Offering a competitive salary and supportive working environment, the successful applicant will be responsible for completing the following duties:
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts• Monthly accruals & prepayments• Processing of sales and purchase invoices as required• Supplier payments, bank reconciliations, expenses and credit card postings• Balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany transactions and journal postings• Preparation of VAT, intrastat and EC sales returns• Support in the preparation of year end statutory accounts and audit including ad hoc analysis• Other ad hoc financial duties as required.Experience Required:
• A minimum of 3 years relevant experience.• Excellent attention to detail.• Ability to work as part of a close team
