Your new role
As a Senior HR Advisor, you will support the HR Manager with operational tasks across the full HR lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Provide expert advice and support on HR policies, employee relations, and best practices.
2. Lead on core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, absence management, and HR administration.
3. Oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate, confidential record-keeping.
4. Support the development and implementation of HR policies, systems, and wellbeing initiatives.
5. Contribute to HR projects and foster a culture of engagement and continuous improvement.
6. First point of contact and support for a team of HR Administrators.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Qualifications: Degree in HR or CIPD Level 5+ (Associate level).
8. Experience: 5+ years in a generalist HR role, covering the full employee lifecycle.
9. Expertise: Strong background in recruitment, employee relations, absence management, and policy development.
10. Knowledge: Solid understanding of employment law, equality reporting, and HR systems/payroll databases.
11. Leadership: Proven ability to lead HR teams and managepeting priorities in a confidential environment.
12. Skills: High emotional intelligence, attention to detail, strong IT and analytical skills, and a proactive, adaptable mindset.
Desirable:
13. CIPP qualification or membership.
14. Hands-on experience with payroll processing.
