Key Result Areas (KRA) and Responsibilities 1. Health and Safety Manage the company's Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) in line with ISO 45001 standards. Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and method statements. Conduct periodic site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on all health and safety matters, including best practices and new legislation. Deliver in-house training and "toolbox talks" on safety procedures and hazard awareness. Coordinate safety-related training across the business. Develop and implement emergency response plans. Results/KPIs : Maintain ISO 45001 certification with minimal non-conformities. Successful cross-functional collaboration on SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) initiatives. Foster a positive safety culture as indicated by employee surveys. Reduction in accident/incident rates. Timely completion of investigations and corrective actions. Environmental Management Ensure the company's environmental policies and procedures comply with ISO 14001 standards and other regulations. Conduct, monitor, and maintain an Environmental Impact Aspects Register and assessments. Manage waste disposal procedures, particularly for hazardous substances. Promote environmental awareness and sustainability throughout the organization. Conduct periodic site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Results/KPIs : Maintain ISO 14001 certification with minimal non-conformities. Successful cross-functional collaboration on sustainability initiatives. Achieve annual audit schedule completion. 3. Quality Assurance Manage the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards. Conduct periodic site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. Work with project teams and suppliers to ensure products and services meet quality standards and customer expectations. Manage the process for handling customer feedback, including complaints and compliments, across multiple sites in the UK and Ireland. Support Group Approved Manufacturing List through conducting supplier audits globally. Results/KPIs : Maintain ISO 9001 certification with minimal non-conformities. Successful cross-functional collaboration on quality initiatives. Reduction in customer complaint rates and returns. Achieve annual audit schedule completion. Timely management of customer claims, supplier claims, and non-conformities. Full compliance with regional legal/SHEQ standards. 4. Reporting and Administration Compile and present SHEQ performance reports to senior management and stakeholders, including key performance indicators (KPIs). Liaise with external bodies, such as regulatory authorities and certification bodies, regarding compliance and audits. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, audits, incidents, and training. Ensure all SHEQ documentation is kept up-to-date and easily accessible.
