Job Description
We are seeking a London based Senior Project Manager to lead Commercial/Workplace and Data Centre security projects within EMEA.
The successful candidate will be part of our London office and will work within a CCM Team that is managing several projects for a prominent technology client in both AMER and EMEA. The role is responsible for all aspects of project delivery from inception through to commissioning and handover and will require some travel to sites to meet the client and delivery team(s) and review construction progress.
Key Responsibilities
* Acting as the Senior Project Manager delivering several EMEA commercial/workplace and data centre projects from inception through to commissioning and handover
* Performing design reviews and quality assurance/control and reporting per milestone
* Identifying, analysing and reviewing critical risks early per phase on each project and reporting and escalating if required
* Flagging any deviations from the client security standards for remediation or taking the appropriate steps to address both critical and non-critical deviations
* Working with the project team and client to effectively manage procurement and project cost/budget
* Reviewing, monitoring, consolidating and reporting design, construction and commissioning schedule development and progress and report per project
* Monitoring and reporting construction progress for each project
* Working closely with Cross Functional Team (XFN) partners to successfully meet all deadlines and deliver a project that meets the client’s security requirements and high standards of quality
* Collecting and compiling all project metrics for CCM reporting to the client
* Managing project document control including but not limited to RFIs and Technical Submittals
Qualifications
* Construction consultancy with client representative experience strongly preferred
* A minimum of 5 years high level project management experience
* Professionally qualified in construction, project management, engineering, or architecture
* A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through to completion and lessons learned
* Design and construction management experience with modern security systems
