An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recovery Worker specialising in Substance Misuse in Sheffield. This role offers a competitive rate of £19 to £23 per hour. It is a full-time position with a 3-month contract initially, but with potential to extend. Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based interventions to support individuals struggling with substance misuse and addiction.
* Engage with clients to develop personalised recovery plans, providing guidance and encouragement every step of the way.
* Facilitate group sessions and one-on-one support to foster a positive environment for change.
* Cooperate with healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to each individual’s treatment.
* Work with a focus on opiate clients, utilising your expertise with SystemOne to maintain accurate and confidential client records.
* Participate in needle exchange programs to promote harm reduction strategies within the community.
Qualifications
* The ideal candidate will possess recent experience in substance misuse, addiction, or drug and alcohol recovery fields.
* You should have relevant qualifications or certifications and prioritise working with opiate clients.
* Proficiency in using SystemOne is essential to manage client records efficiently.
