POSITION OVERVIEW
Working within the SEGA WEST PUBLISHING Central Marketing team [EMEA], the role of Junior Product Manager is an essential position supporting one or more Senior Product Managers in planning, executing, and reporting on SEGA's marketing campaigns. The objective is to support the Product Marketing team to maximize opportunities for SEGA's franchises and deliver top-tier marketing campaigns. The role involves collaboration with internal departments including PR, Creative Services, Paid Media, CRM, Digital & Physical Sales Teams, and external partners such as Distribution & First Parties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support the Senior Product Managers in planning and executing marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels for product launches and post-launch lifecycle acquisition/retention.
2. Build relationships and work closely with studio brand teams to deliver marketing support for their franchises and ensure campaign requirements are met.
3. Collaborate with Physical and Digital sales teams to address partner needs throughout the product lifecycle.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with all SEGA teams to ensure aligned marketing strategy execution.
5. Assist with marketing priorities such as events, community engagement, internal presentations, and team administration.
6. Manage allocated product marketing budgets alongside Senior Product Managers to stay within financial targets and ensure accurate reporting.
7. Take ownership of specific product campaigns as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1. Some marketing experience with understanding of effective marketing campaign strategies. Games industry experience is desirable but not mandatory.
2. Interest in video games, marketing, media, and creative advertising campaigns.
3. Ability to build strong working relationships with diverse teams.
4. Adaptability and eagerness to learn and develop skills for growth within a rapidly evolving industry.
5. Experience in presenting to groups across various seniority levels.
