Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Lechlade, Gloucestershire

We are recruiting on behalf of small animal practice in the stunning Cotswolds for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon. This role is full time for 4 days per week with 4:30pm finishes, along with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings for emergency appointments only. They have a limited and quiet OOH rota and understand the importance of a good work-life balance. They shut every lunchtime so that all members of the team have a good break and are able to enjoy their lunch.
Located in the Cotswolds it has plenty to offer with water parks close by along with picturesque towns and villages with good transport links to Oxford and Swindon.
Both of the branches that the practice has is surrounded by the countryside and offers plenty of walking and local amenities close by.
The Vet would be joining a team of 3 vets, 2 RVNs, 2 SVNs and a practice manager.
They understand the importance of support and they enable all members of their team to develop areas of special interest. The Vets within the practice have an interest in surgery and shortly they will be offering laparoscopic surgeries. Vets who would like to develop areas of interest and skills would be provided training.
The practice is looking for a motivated Vet who has a friendly and positive attitude. The ideal candidate would be comfortable with most medical and surgical work ups. They will have an empathetic attitude and be able to establish good working relationships with clients.

5. Weekends: 1 in 2 or 4 Saturday mornings

Package:
26. Salary: £40, to £52, per annum, commensurate to experience
