Salary: £50,000 + benefits (dependent on experience)

We’re helping a fast-growing high street womenswear supplier specialising in trend-led woven's for some of the UK’s most exciting young fashion brands hire an experience Womenswear Designer to the growing team. Based in East London, they pride ourselves on our creativity, speed, and commercial edge providing to many UK house hold high street names .
The Role:
This is the perfect role and adding to a team of designers for someone with a strong eye for detail, a love of fashion, and the ability to translate catwalk trends into commercial, production-friendly garments.
You’ll work collaboratively with both design and sales teams to develop soft wovens, tailoring and smart jersey ranges — taking ideas from concept through to sample.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce creative and accurate CAD designs across womenswear categories
Develop trend-led ranges and customer-specific collections
Source fabrics, trims and components in line with design briefs
Liaise with factories and suppliers to ensure quality and fit standards
Conduct trend, shape and fabric research to stay ahead of the market
Support the design team with presentations and range development
MUST HAVE ON OUR CLIENTS SHOPPING LIST :
Solid and recent experience in womenswear design of soft separates ( soft tailoring / smart jersey ) — from a supplier background
Strong fabric knowledge
Solid understanding of garment construction and product development
Confident in Adobe Illustrator / CAD
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Passionate about fast fashion and the high street
London based and eligible to work in the UK
