Where you’ll work alongside an experienced Home Manager and a supportive senior team who understand that great care starts with great leadership.
Set in the welcoming town of Martock, our 76-bed home provides residential, nursing, dementia, respite, and palliative care in a warm and compassionate environment. As Clinical Deputy Manager, you’ll play a central role in making that happen.
This is more than a clinical role it’s an opportunity to lead, support, and shape the quality of care every single day.
You’ll divide your time between hands-on nursing and protected supernumerary hours, allowing you to guide the team, strengthen clinical practice, and ensure the home continues to deliver safe, responsive, and person-centred care.
You’ll be the clinical anchor of the service supporting nurses and carers, overseeing care standards, and working closely with the Home Manager to maintain compliance with the Care Quality Commission and continuously improve the service.
Your responsibilities will include supporting and developing the nursing team, overseeing care planning and clinical governance, ensuring the safe delivery of complex care, and helping maintain a home that is always inspection-ready.
Your influence will help shape standards, strengthen practice, and support the continued success of the home.

You’ll be a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with experience in elderly care and a genuine passion for leading others. You’ll take pride in high clinical standards, feel confident supporting complex care needs, and enjoy mentoring and developing your team.
