Job Overview
Mr Spiral Ltd are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Workshop Fabricator to join our team and assist in the fabrication and manufacturing of sheet metal ductwork and fire-rated ductwork for varied sites.
Responsibilities
* Safely operating machinery and tools.
* Manufacture ductwork and components in accordance with customer specifications.
* Carry out quality control on manufactured items.
* Ensure all jobs are complete on time and to the desired quality.
* Ensure all quality standards and safety guidelines are adhered to throughout the facility.
* Ensuring the workshop is kept safe and tidy.
Candidate Requirements
* 3 years' experience in the fabrication industry and manufacturing of ductwork.
* Operate machinery competently.
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* High attention to detail; able to work to correct dimensional tolerances.
* Ability to work as part of a team whilst using own initiative to carry out solo tasks.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Competent in English and Maths.
* Must be computer literate.
* Knowledge of the DW/144 Sheet Metal Ductwork specification would be useful.
