This opportunity is ideal for engineers who are ready to step away from shift patterns and move into a stable days-based engineering role with long-term career prospects and a genuinely supportive culture.Why This Role Stands OutStraight days - no nights, no rotating shiftsA culture focused on developing people & investing in site improvementsOvertime paid at x1.5Opportunity to work in a small, collaborative team where you can make an impact The Role You'll join a small but skilled engineering team on a busy food manufacturing site, taking ownership of preventative maintenance, reactive engineering support, and equipment improvements across a range of electro-mechanical assets.Key responsibilities include:Delivering periodic & condition-based PPM on production equipmentQuick and efficient fault-finding and breakdown responseFabricating and machining parts (lathe, milling, welding)Supporting CI projects and operational improvementsWorking with the Operations team to maximise equipment performanceKeeping documentation up to date and using the CMMS system effectivelyLiaising with contractors and supporting site upgradesOngoing training and development to maintain professional competenceThere will be an on-call requirement which will include a standby charge and increased rate if called out. What You'll BringLevel 3 Engineering qualification (Electro-Mechanical preferred)Strong mechanical & electrical fault-finding abilityAbility to read mechanical and electrical drawingsConfident with fabrication and machining techniquesAble to work at height and in confined spacesUnderstanding of hydraulics, pneumatics & motion controlPLC logic understanding (desirable)TPBN1_UKTJ
