Main duties of the job
Clinical Dutieso To undertake venepuncture from patients in their own homes. Visit patients in order of priority as listed; there will be a maximum of two fasting patients at the beginning of the list, and one urgent. The phlebotomist will be expected to see up to 10 patients per daily To undertake Blood pressure from patients in their own To maintain Knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to deliver a quality service that are responsive to the needs of To report any changes in condition of the patient to the Team Leader or in their absence the designated nurse in charge of the caseload

11. Knowledge of community practice to include venepuncture, monitoring of blood pressure.
12. Able to cope with occasional exposure to distressing or emotional circumstances; chronic sick or disabled patients
13. Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
14. Able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
15. Able to work under pressure
16. Willingness to undertake training as appropriate to the post
17. Able to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce and to deliver a quality service to people from different backgrounds, by including and embracing their varied needs
