Overview
P/T Cardiac Physiologist urgently required for a private hospital in the Leeds area. Dream Medical is working with a number of respected private hospitals in the Leeds area and urgently require a part-time Cardiac Physiologist.
Responsibilities
* Working as part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team
* Assist with day-to-day workload alongside Physiologists
* ECGs
* Physiologist-led exercise testing
* Ambulatory BP monitoring
* Ambulatory ECG monitoring and analysis
* Basic spirometry
* Echocardiography including Stress Echocardiography
* TOE in isolation or with PFO closure
* Basic cardiac angiography
Requirements / Qualifications
* Hold BSE accreditation or be working towards this
* Previously held a minimum of band 6 or equivalent post in this area
* Confident and competent in autonomously producing Echocardiography reports in line with BSE guidelines
* Experience in specialist Echocardiography services such as Stress Echocardiography and TOE is essential; paediatric and congenital experience would be an advantage
* Good communication and interpersonal skills and evidence of continuing professional development
* BSc in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent (HNC/ONC)
* Registered with the RCCP
Details
* Hours: 20–24 per week
* Salary: £32,000–£35,000 per year (equivalent to NHS Band 7, dependent upon experience)
