The Urgent Care Centre (UTC) is co-located with the Emergency Department and provides 24/7 access to emergency nursing and medical care. Clinicians in the Emergency Department treat patients with life-threatening, urgent and emergency conditions along with illnesses and injuries across all ages. The Emergency Department at UCLH cared for 148,000 patients last year, with over 74,000 treated in the UTC.
We are expanding and developing our Emergency Nurse Practitioner workforce and welcome applications from Emergency Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic Practitioners and Advanced Clinical Practitioners to join our clinical team in the UTC.
Responsibilities
* Work as an independent, autonomous practitioner providing high quality, evidence-based, timely, patient-centred care.
* Utilise expert diagnostic and clinical skills to provide autonomous, unscheduled medical care and manage a diverse range of patients with acute undifferentiated and undiagnosed illnesses and injuries.
* Deliver consistent, safe care in a busy urgent care setting.
