The RoleWe are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Basis Consultant to join a large‑scale, enterprise SAP transformation programme within a highly regulated environment. This is a hands‑on, operational role focused on stability, resilience, security, and performance of aplex SAP S 4HANA landscape.You will play a key role in the administration, configuration, and ongoing operation of SAP systems, working closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure the platform meets strict technical andernance standards.Key Responsibilities
3. Administer and support SAP S 4HANA systems, including system builds, configuration, and day‑to‑day Basis operations
4. Manage SAP landscapes across development, quality, and production environments
5. Own transport management, kernel upgrades, support package implementation, and performance tuning activities
6. Use SAP Solution Manager to support IT Service Management, Change Request Management (ChaRM), and Focused Build
7. Support a DevOps‑driven SAP delivery model, working with tools such as GitLab, BitBucket, and Puppet
8. Coordinate system refreshes, system copies, and client administration activities
9. Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure platform resilience andpliance
10. Support audit, assurance, andpliance activities across the programme lifecycle
11. Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of the SAP technical operations framework
Essential Skills and Experience
12. Proven experience working as an SAP Basis Consultant in SAP S 4HANA environments
13. Strong knowledge of: SAP system administrationTransport managementPerformance optimisation and monitoring
14. Hands‑on experience with SAP Solution Manager, including: ITSMChaRMFocused Build
15. Experience working within Enterobacteriales orplex SAP programmes
16. Strongmunication and collaboration skills, able to work across multiple technical teams
Desirable Experience
17. Experience running SAP on cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS
18. Familiarity with ITIL‑aligned change and service management processes
19. Experience working in highly regulated environments, such asernment or financial services
