About us
As a CQC 'Good' rated district general hospital, we pride ourselves on the high quality, highly responsive, patient‑centred services we provide to patients from Bolton and the surrounding areas in acute and community settings.
Patient care always has and always will be our top priority. COVID‑19 has meant that our services have had to adapt and respond to the ever‑changing needs of our diverse patient population. Our teams have adjusted their ways of working brilliantly to support this with a great sense of teamwork, resilience and shared purpose.
Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is highly committed to our workforce. Our nurturing learning environment ensures that all members of the Physiotherapy team are supported with their learning and development throughout their career, enabling staff to feel valued both as individuals and as part of the wider organisation. In line with our flexible working policy, the Trust strives to support flexible working patterns, enabling staff to achieve a healthy work/life balance. We believe all staff should experience equal career opportunities, irrespective of ethnicity, colour or nationality, and have a well‑established BAME Staff Forum to support this.
