What you'll be doing:
The Artworker & Image Re-toucher will be responsible for preparing, editing, and enhancing product photography for our websites, marketplaces, and marketing channels across the UK and Europe. This role is key in ensuring our products look their very best online — maintaining brand consistency, inspiring confidence, and helping customers to connect with our products. They will play a pivotal part in shaping how our products are experienced across multiple markets, with the chance to influence creative standards as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
* Retouch, colour-correct, shape, and optimise product and lifestyle imagery for use across eCommerce platforms, social media, and marketing materials.
* Ensure all images are consistent with Brand Imagery Guidelines and meet eCommerce standards (lighting, cropping, background, positioning, file size/format, etc) and ensure product colours are accurate to the real thing.
* Manage image workflows, including file organisation, naming conventions, and delivery timelines in collaboration with the in-house photographer.
* Prepare images for use across multiple channels (web, marketplaces such as Amazon/Otto, social, print, etc.).
* Work closely with the photography, graphic design, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality assets to deadline.
* Contribute ideas to improve creative workflows and enhance the customers' experience of our brands.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retouching trends, techniques, and eCommerce best practices.
* Take ownership of product listings — collaborating with the marketing, design, and sales account teams to ensure every listing is the best it can be across all channels.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as an Image Re-toucher, ideally within an eCommerce or retail environment.
* Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (Lightroom and Capture One experience a plus).
* Strong eye for detail, colour, and composition.
* Ability to balance speed and quality while managing high volumes of images.
* Open to feedback and positive in approach, seeing it as a natural step in producing the best outcome.
* Highly organised and diligent, with excellent standards in file management and progress tracking.
* Understanding of eCommerce image requirements, including web optimisation.
* A self-starter, able to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Mac user.
Desirable
* Experience working with lifestyle and studio photography.
* Graphic design skills (Adobe Illustrator & InDesign) are a strong advantage.
* Familiarity with video editing and motion graphics.
* Photography studio experience.
