Salary: Starting at £55,000+, depending on your skills and experience.
Your Mission:
As a Commercial Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our contract activities. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Drafting and negotiating complex terms and conditions, ensuring BAE Systems' interests are protected.
* Overseeing all contract aspects related to business winning.
* Ensuring compliance with BAE Systems Operational Framework and relevant commercial processes.
* Delivering commercial interfaces with Procurement and managing contract requirements.
* Supporting Contract and Bid Status Reviews to clarify ongoing commercial activities.
* Acting as the contract interface with both domestic and international customers.
Your Skills and Experience:
We’re looking for someone who brings the following to the table:
* A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (e.g., Law) or substantial relevant experience.
* Proven experience in commercial management within major projects or complex programs.
* Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex contracts with various stakeholders.
* A strong understanding of bid management processes and experience in business-winning activities.
* Knowledge of commercial governance frameworks, including Request for Bid Approval.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Finance, Estimating, and Project Management.
