A growing, privately backed professional services group with a national presence is seeking an experienced Strategic Project and Change Manager to support its next phase of evolution. The organisation operates within a regulated environment and has expanded significantly through a combination of organic growth and the acquisition of complementary businesses. As the group continues to scale, it is strengthening its central operations function with a dedicated specialist who can drive both structured project delivery and meaningful change adoption.
This role sits at the heart of the organisation’s transformation agenda. You will lead key initiatives that span technology integration, operational improvement, regulatory readiness, and the onboarding of newly acquired firms. The work is broad and varied, requiring someone who is comfortable moving between detailed planning, stakeholder engagement, and hands on change delivery.
Key responsibilities
* Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of cross group projects, ensuring clarity of scope, governance, milestones and resource requirements
* Develop and maintain programme plans that provide visibility of risks, issues and dependencies
* Design and deliver change management strategies that support the adoption of new systems, processes and ways of working
* Partner with senior leaders, advisers and operational teams to build understanding, engagement and ownership of change
* Deliver communications, training and readiness activity that supports successful implementation
* Provide a central view of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and regulatory expectations
* Contribute to long term planning, continuous improvement and the development of group wide frameworks and standards for project and change delivery
About you
You will bring solid experience in project management along with broad change management capability, ideally gained within wealth management, financial services or professional services. You will be comfortable working across a diverse portfolio, from technology and data projects to operational, cultural and regulatory change. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with recognised project or change qualifications such as Prince2, MSP, Prosci, APMG or Agile.
This is an opportunity to join an ambitious and collaborative organisation during a pivotal stage of growth and to play a central role in shaping its future
