As a Night Coordinator, working 39 hours a week, you will lead and manage the quality of nursing care for service users during night shifts, ensuring the service runs smoothly.
You will be a pivotal member of the operational management team and will support the Nurses, Senior Nurses, and clinical teams across Cefn Carna during the night shifts. You will lead, manage, and coordinate clinical duties to ensure quality and safety are maintained.
As a senior member of the night shift team, you will provide guidance, supervision, and training to junior team members, supporting online training, checking observation levels, evaluating work quality, and reviewing team effectiveness.

As a Night Coordinator, you will be:
* Providing nursing leadership and support to nursing staff on night shifts across wards.
* Undertaking clinical supervision with night staff.
* Identifying night-time cost pressures within the budget and taking steps to minimize their impact.
* Managing staff allocation, redeployments, and daily staffing levels, including the use of premium rate staff, to control the budget effectively.
* Working closely with the on-site staff coordinator to ensure adequate staffing is considered and booked for both night and day teams.
* Providing statistics and reports as required by the Hospital Director/Deputy Hospital Director.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant experience as RMN/RNLD.
* First-level nurse registration with evidence of professional development, relevant skills, and knowledge.
* Awareness of the wider healthcare economy and political environment.
* Relevant clinical experience in a similar environment.
* A proven track record of leadership skills.

Where you will be working:
You will be working at Cefn Carnau, a low secure/rehabilitation service for adults with a primary diagnosis of learning disability, who may also have mental illness, personality disorders, and autistic spectrum conditions.
The programmes provided include sex offender treatment, anger management, trauma therapy, art psychotherapy, and bespoke psychological sessions tailored for people with learning disabilities.
