Are you a committed and adaptable Science Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people outside of mainstream education?
We are working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Croydon who are seeking a skilled and resilient teacher of Science to join their team.
The Role:
Deliver creative and engaging KS3–KS4 Science lessons to small groups of students.
Adapt teaching methods to support pupils with SEMH, behavioural challenges and additional learning needs.
Build strong relationships to inspire, motivate and re-engage learners in their education.
Collaborate with pastoral staff and other teachers to support holistic development and positive outcomes.The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in a PRU, alternative provision or mainstream setting with challenging behaviour.
Strong behaviour management strategies and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A positive, empathetic and resilient approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable young people.Benefits:
