GENERAL SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manufacturing Team Leader, the Semi-Skilled Operator will support final product assembly and testing of the GD Engineering product line, including material handling, raw material prep, painting, and assembly of standard components.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure efficient completion of activities related to final product assembly, meeting customer and company requirements.
* Operate machinery with proper training and participate in multi-skilling initiatives.
* Maintain quality throughout manufacturing.
* Work efficiently, managing non-productive time to reduce costs.
* Assist with factory maintenance and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
* Support packing and stores as needed.
* Work overtime as required to meet demands.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Valid forklift truck license.
* Industrial experience in a similar role.
* Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Education and Experience
* Minimum three years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience in a related industry preferred.
