Revit Technician

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Revit Technician to join a dynamic buildings measurement and topographical survey business. The company utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide instant online quotes for clients and has experienced significant growth since 2018. They specialize in high-quality measured surveys and 3D scanning output for residential and small commercial properties. The team is looking for an enthusiastic individual with a solid understanding of Point Cloud data capture and Revit to create detailed drawings from survey data.
The company currently delivers at least 12 surveys monthly to a diverse client base, including architects, surveyors, contractors, home builders, and homeowners, with ambitions to triple this number in 2022. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating plans, elevations, sections, and topographical information from survey data using Revit.
Responsibilities & Duties:
* Manipulation of Point Cloud data and producing Scan-to-BIM outputs in Revit
* Creating plans, elevations, sections, and topographical information
* Using AutoCAD to support survey data processing
* Undertaking surveys with 3D laser scanning equipment (Trimble T7)
* Post-processing of point cloud data
* Communicating professionally with staff, suppliers, and clients
* Participating in weekly team meetings
* Potential for future progression, including training others and promoting surveying best practices
* Ensuring adherence to 3D CAD/BIM standards and quality assurance processes
Experience & Qualifications:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with experience using platforms such as LSS, Cyclone, Trimble Realworks, and Business Centre
* Membership of RICS is advantageous
* Strong organizational, communication, and file management skills
* Technologically savvy, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive
* Experience working with point cloud data, ideally with a surveying background
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Portfolio showcasing relevant work
