Band 3 Parent/Carer Peer Support Worker - Eating Disorders & DICE
A vacancy at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. This role is designed for people with lived experience as a Parent/Carer of a child or young person with an Eating Disorder and/or autism. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Parent/Carer Peer Support Worker to join our teams.
Responsibilities
* Provide peer-based emotional and practical support.
* Use your lived experience to support families and carers during periods of stress or crisis.
* Work as part of the multidisciplinary team, ensuring the voice of the Parent/Carer shapes care planning and service delivery.
* Support engagement, recovery and resilience through goal setting with individuals, accessing appropriate resources, and working collaboratively within and across care teams.
