Property Finance Manager – Join Barnardo's Finance Operations Team.

Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for property operations and service improvement?

2. Are you confident managing complex financial processes in a fast-paced environment?
3. Do you thrive on building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders?

If so, Barnardo's have an exciting opportunity to join our fast paced Finance Operations team as our Property Finance Manager and we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you will:

4. Lead and develop a team of Property Finance Administrators
5. Oversee end-to-end property finance processes, including:
6. Rental income and payments
7. Utilities, service charges, and rates
8. Supplier billing and invoice consolidation
9. Journal entries and master data management
10. Collaborate with colleagues across Property, Finance, Retail, and Children's Services
11. Build and maintain relationships with external partners such as landlords, managing agents, and auditors
12. Drive continuous improvement and service excellence
13. Identify opportunities to streamline systems and processes
14. Support the Head of Finance Operations and Manager – Finance Processing and Controls in embedding a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation

You'll bring:

15. Experience in finance operations or shared service environments
16. Strong understanding of transactional finance activities
17. Proven ability to manage and develop teams
18. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
19. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
20. Strong ERP and Excel skills and Accounting knowledge

Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band – this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
