Dialysis Assistant – Rotherham
We're thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our Rotherham team as a Dialysis Assistant. In this vital role, you'll support our nursing staff and deliver top‑notch care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
This is a Fixed Term contract for 12 months covering maternity.
Your Responsibilities
* Preparing, restoring and maintaining clinical areas and equipment.
* Monitoring and stocking consumable supplies to ensure smooth operation.
* Escorting patients to and from the clinical area.
* Contributing to patient documentation and managing phone inquiries.
* Providing hands‑on care under supervision, including preparing patients for dialysis, monitoring during treatment and assisting with post‑dialysis care.
Requirements
* GCSE education and NVQ3 in Health and Social Care.
* At least two years of experience as a Care Assistant, with a focus on high‑level patient care.
* Proficiency in English and working knowledge of MS Office.
* A compassionate and diligent approach to patient care.
* Must be able to work clinically in a renal setting.
