Are you a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence in the construction industry? We’re hiring an Operations Director to drive performance, quality, and client satisfaction across all projects.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for overseeing service delivery, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and industry standards. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of the business, fostering strong client relationships, and leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end client delivery across both divisions
* Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business
* Oversee multi-disciplinary projects and resource planning
* Implement systems to improve operational efficiency and quality
* Collaborate with the Commercial Director to meet financial targets
* Manage and develop teams including PFP, FD, H&S, and Logistics Managers
* Ensure Health & Safety compliance across all operational activities
What We’re Looking For
* 10+ years in senior management within construction, ideally at Director level
* Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proven experience in contract management (JCT and similar)
* Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business Management, or related field (ILM Level 7 desirable)
* Willingness to study for ASFP Level 3
