Job Description: Machinist Location: Lincoln Position Type: Permanent Shift Pattern: A/B shift rotation 37 hours per week Role Purpose The Machinist ensures the smooth operation of machines within the cell, delivering high-quality components on time, while maintaining workplace organisation and supporting production efficiency. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain machinery (turning, milling, grinding) within the cell. Ensure components consistently meet required quality standards. Deliver products On Time In Full (OTIF). Perform inspection duties on relevant features where identified. Maintain high standards of workplace organisation. Support setting and maintaining optimum running conditions. Carry out self-inspection and sanctioning of work within the cell. Perform additional tasks as required, including assembly, pinning, and non-machinery duties. Experience & Qualifications Essential: Minimum 2 years experience in CNC Turning/Milling. Proficient in the use of standard measuring equipment. Background in engineering and/or manufacturing. Strong numeric skills. Hours of Work A Shift: Monday to Thursday: 6:00am 1:35pm Friday: 6:00am 12:45pm (No Premium) B Shift: Monday to Thursday: 1:25pm 9:05pm Friday: 12:35pm 7:00pm (10% Premium) Overtime available when required.
