We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our busy team for a 12‑month period to cover maternity leave as a Band 6 Senior Anaesthetic Technical Officer.
This vital role provides technical expertise and support to anaesthetists and theatre staff, ensuring the safe and effective use of anaesthetic equipment and IT systems. You will be responsible for the setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment, providing training to staff, and ensuring compliance with NHS and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
You will be primarily based at workshops at our Oxford Road Campus but will need to be flexible as you will also be working at Trafford Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital. Your key responsibilities include providing technical expertise and support to anaesthetists and theatre staff, ensuring the safe and effective use of anaesthetic equipment and IT systems, setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, training staff and ensuring compliance with NHS and regulatory standards.
