What You’ll Be Doing
11. Lead and support a range of IT security projects, ensuring secure and timely delivery
12. Manage and maintain cybersecurity tools for both on-prem and cloud environments (cloud being a key focus)
13. Implement, configure, and update security solutions including EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, and cloud security tools
14. Collaborate with internal IT, development, and third-party teams to embed security across all operations
15. Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and OSINT investigations
16. Monitor emerging threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and new CVEs, assessing their potential impact
17. Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and recommending improvements
18. Deliver engaging security awareness training across the business
19. Provide security guidance for new technologies and strategic initiatives
20. Support day-to-day security operations and enforce strong change control processes
21. Assist with SOC alerts, investigations, and escalations
What We’re Looking For
22. Proven experience in a Cyber Security Engineer or similar technical security role
23. Strong understanding of network, infrastructure, and application security principles
24. Practical experience with security tools and platforms, both on-prem and cloud-based
25. Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)
26. Experience in risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response
27. Hands-on experience configuring and managing cloud security tools and IAM solutions
28. Knowledge of EDR platforms and vulnerability management processes
29. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, Azure Security Engineer) desirable
30. Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues for non-technical audiences
31. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
