Location: Exceptional Care Ltd, The Malthouse Business Centre, 48 Southport Road
Children's Registered Home Manager
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent upon experience - £5,000 per annum bonus for full occupancy)
Hours: Mon - Friday 9am to 5pm
Who are Exceptional Care?
Exceptional Care is a therapeutic children’s service providing care and support to children and young people aged 8-17, from complex backgrounds, who display challenging behaviour and EBD. The service is an independent social care organisation with multiple residential units across the whole of the North West. The senior leadership team has been transformed to ensure the right people have oversight of the organisation.
We are seeking a talented Children's Registered Home Manager to join us on our exciting journey, based at one of our 2 bed Children's Home in Garstang.
Exceptional Care believes that consistency in care is paramount to children/young people with complex needs, to this end we are committed to developing and maintaining good communicative relationships with the child/young person.

About The Role
Required criteria
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence
* 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting dealing with children with complex needs at senior level (You could be an outstanding Deputy Manager looking for progression)
* Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
Desired criteria
* Level 5 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
* Previous Ofsted rating of GOOD or Outstanding
Exceptional Care use a systemic therapeutic approach to support the nurture and care of our children. The systemic approach is rooted in attachment theory, and uses trauma informed approaches. We are currently introducing a comprehensive framework of assessment and outcome monitoring using the Secure Base Model.
