Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements: Eligibility for security clearance Experience as a security architect is ideal; candidates with senior-level experience in advisory roles looking to transition into their first architecture role will also be considered Broad understanding of a wide range of security concepts or the ability to adapt and learn them (e.g., IAM, SOC, GRC, MFA) Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills Experience implementing security solutions in an architectural capacity Experience scoping multiple large programmes of work Experience completing High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) Responsibilities: Join a team of around 20 to develop designs and provide overarching strategic architectural insights to the Technical Design Authority (TDA) Create, review, and advise on HLDs and LLDs Provide scoping and support to advance cyber programmes Work cross-functionally with technical colleagues, partners, and project/programme staff Increase cyber maturity while collaborating with third-party suppliers Maintain and communicate the organisation's security architecture Provide security architecture expertise on a variety of projects Assist with cyber accreditation renewals Suggest new security technologies Manage and influence stakeholders Collaborate with architects in similar public sector institutions to share good practices and implement new ideas Create standards and document patterns Technologies: Architect IAM Support Security More: We are looking for a Security Architect to join our public sector organisation in Scotland for a 12-month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent. This strategic role will involve overseeing multiple high-profile workstreams and requires a generalist with a broad understanding of cyber and information security domains.
