We're working with a well regarded Fresh Produce business looking to recruit a Account manager to join its commercial team. This role is focused on managing key retail customers, delivering sales growth, and aligning activity with wider business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement business plans for designated customers
* Manage forecasting, procurement, and production planning in line with sales budgets
* Monitor market trends and customer strategies to identify new opportunities
* Propose and deliver customer activity plans including promotions and NPD
* Work closely with technical teams to meet customer requirements
* Prepare and submit seasonal tenders
* Support the Sales Director in developing and delivering strategic plans
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience managing major retail accounts
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
* Commercially astute with a good understanding of retail and FMCG sectors
* Excellent analytical and organisational skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
* A proactive and results-driven approach
