Salary £30,000 - £37,000 DOE plus on‑call & overtime (OTE £45K+)
Metro Rod works with Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Mitie, Clarion, Axa, Wetherspoons, and many others in FM, social housing, property management, retail, industrial, and leisure sectors. Founded 1983, Metro Rod and its sister company Metro Plumb are leading providers of drain clearance and maintenance services across the UK.
What does it entail?
* Carry out cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of drains
* Operate high‑pressure water jetting equipment safely
* Conduct surveys
* Provide exceptional customer service and technical expertise
* Record work details via internal/client systems
* Communicate effectively with clients and support centre to ensure excellent service
* Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rota
What experience do we look for?
* High‑pressure water jetting and confined spaces experience
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in domestic & commercial drainage
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and technical knowledge
* Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude
* Willingness to work unsociable hours
* Full clean UK driving licence
* Must live in the M25 London area
