As part of our team, you will create and implement a wide variety of daily activities and programmes to provide residents with a stimulating, fulfilling, and happy lifestyle.
Responsibilities
* Use experience in arts, theatre, music, hospitality and event hosting to design and run activities that promote wellbeing, socialisation and harmony within the care home.
* Plan, coordinate and deliver engaging daily activities and programmes for residents.
* Lead group activities and manage volunteers; work with residents, staff and families to ensure high quality experiences.
* Collaborate with the Home Manager/Regional Hospitality & Lifestyle Manager and adapt activities to residents’ needs.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in a role such as Lifestyle Coordinator, Activities Coordinator or similar within care, community, leisure, hospitality or event management environments.
* A formal qualification in a relevant field (e.g., leisure, lifestyle, hospitality or event management) is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills, creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with residents, staff and families.
* Knowledge of theatre, art, music, hospitality and event hosting.
* Ability to lead activities and manage volunteers; work independently and as part of a team.
* Empathy for the needs of elderly and disabled residents; flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules.

Pay: £12.60 per hour. Type: Permanent. Shift: Mixed (Weekdays/Weekends). Full and Part-time positions available.
