Arcus is recruiting 2 part‑time in‑store cleaners based in Sainsbury’s Shrewsbury store on a permanent basis. 24 hours and 21 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available.
Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and Arcus offers various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Shift patterns include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work.
Responsibilities
* Complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within our Sainsbury’s stores.
* Operate cleaning machinery and perform thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping.
* Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies as needed; may also work outside keeping trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris.
* Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.
Shift Patterns
* 24 Hours: Sunday 06:00-10:00, Monday 04:00-08:00, Tuesday Day Off, Wednesday 04:00-08:00, Thursday 04:00-08:00, Friday 04:00-08:00, Saturday 04:00-08:00
* 21 Hours: Sunday 04:00-06:30 and 15:00-17:00, Monday 04:00-07:00, Tuesday Day Off, Wednesday 04:00-07:00, Thursday 04:00-07:00, Friday 04:00-07:00, Saturday 04:00-06:30 and 15:00-17:00
You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.
What you’ll need
* Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on‑the‑job training will be supplied.
* An eye for detail and cleanliness.
* A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
* Please note you will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App, which is a condition of employment.
