Finance Manager – Stock, Costing & Capex – Goole – £60,000 - £70,000 + 10% Bonus & Hybrid

This is a key role where you’ll take ownership of stock, costing, and capital expenditure processes - bringing fresh ideas, driving improvement, and helping shape the financial future of a business that’s investing for growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead and improve all inventory and costing processes – including valuation, provisions, adjustments, and write-offs, ensuring compliance with both UK and US GAAP
Streamline BOMs and maintain accurate standard costs that truly reflect operational performance
Take the lead on inventory counts across multiple sites and liaise directly with auditors
Build strong partnerships with commercial and operational teams, embedding a culture of financial control and accountability
Own all aspects of Capex reporting and control, supporting strategic investment decisions
Establish meaningful KPIs and variance analysis to drive operational efficiency and profitabilityWhy You’ll Love This Role:

A qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with proven experience in manufacturing or distribution
A track record of improving stock or costing controls and delivering operational insights
Confident working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Skilled in Excel and ERP/ accounting systems, with a hands on, proactive approach
