We are looking for passionate and committed English Lecturers to join our team across colleges in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to support learners in achieving success in GCSE and Foundation Level English.
The Role
As an English Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality lessons that motivate and engage students, helping them build essential literacy skills and confidence.
Key responsibilities include:
* Teaching GCSE and foundation-level English (Language and/or Literature)
* Planning and delivering creative, inclusive, and effective lessons
* Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback
* Supporting learners to develop reading, writing, and communication skills
* Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
About You
We are seeking candidates who:
* Hold a degree in English or a related subject
* Have teaching experience (FE, secondary, or adult education preferred)
* Possess a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) - desirable but not essential
* Are passionate about improving literacy and student outcomes
* Have strong communication and classroom management skills
