We are recruiting a support worker to assist a client with Acquired Brain Injury.
Are you the right fit for this role?
You will support a 68-year-old client with an Acquired Brain Injury, helping him stay focused on daily living tasks. He previously enjoyed outdoor activities and was very active. This role suits someone who loves the outdoors and is passionate about rehabilitation and achieving goals. You will assist the client in accessing the community, engaging in activities of interest, and supporting his rehabilitation process.
The salary starts from £14.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Duties
Your responsibilities include supporting the client with social, leisure, and rehabilitation activities.
Key Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
* Previous experience working in the health sector.
* UK driving license and familiarity with wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAV).
* NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience (e.g., completed year 1/level 4 of a recognized health profession degree).
* This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
