With a strong reputation in their sector and ambitious plans for the future, they are looking to strengthen their finance team with the appointment of a hands-on Finance Manager.
The Role
This is a key role within the finance function, managing a team of four and supporting the Financial Controller. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day finance operations, delivering timely and accurate management accounts, and ensuring the business has the financial insight needed to support decision-making during this period of growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4 within the finance function, ensuring strong performance and professional growth.
Take ownership of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure robust financial controls.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
Work closely with the Financial Controller to deliver accurate financial reporting and support strategic initiatives.
Provide commercial insight and financial analysis to operational leaders to drive performance.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across the finance team.
About You
Part Qualified or Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Previous experience managing and developing a small finance team.
Strong technical accounting skills with hands-on management accounts experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business.
Comfortable rolling up your sleeves while also contributing at a strategic level.
